Project Terms & Conditions
01. Acceptance & Project Requirements
All estimates and quotes are based on our understanding of your requirements and as per the given time-frame. By accepting a quote, you agree to and accept the terms and conditions of Seecode Technology. Acceptance can be verbal, by email, payment of initiation, or signing a quote.
Clients must ensure that we have included all requirements in the quotes/proposals and must provide us with clear guidelines along with the specific flow they require. When such details are not provided, we will proceed with our best understanding of the requirements. Any discrepancy arising later may lead to additional costs. Any complexity related to specific tasks must be advised in advance; we operate in good faith and rely on our clients to disclose the full picture.
02. Timelines & Project Delays
Seecode will make every effort to complete the project in the given time frame. Reasonable delays are accepted if functionalities are redefined or modified.
- Website/application content and all related materials need to be provided to us within the first week of starting the project.
- Any delays at the client’s end may delay the proposed timeframes and incur additional costs.
03. Development, Re-work & Testing
There are limited man-hours allocated to each task. Minor changes may be included within the allocated hours on a case-by-case basis. Any bugs (programming errors) reported during or just after the development do not attract additional charges.
However, any re-work on an already completed task, changes in the design after approval, or modifications requested after Go-Live approval will incur additional charges. Under no circumstances will Seecode be liable for any delays caused by a change in the project brief.
Testing Policy: Our websites/applications are generally tested on PCs and include near-recent versions of IE, Firefox, Chrome, & Safari. Responsive pages are tested on iPhones and iPads. Any other specific device testing must be discussed in advance.
04. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
Seecode software codes (not including open-source software) are copyrights of Seecode Technology. The codes can be handed over at an additional cost for use once all previous invoices are settled, on the condition that the codes are used only for the specified client. Under no circumstance will the codes be allowed to be used for re-selling or duplication purposes.
Upon full payment of any outstanding invoices, Seecode will grant an unconditional license to the Customer to reproduce, publish, or use the graphics, texts, and images used in the published website. This does not include intellectual property relating to programming codes, database structures, scripts, or digital strategies.
05. Hosting, Domains & Third-Party Components
- Third-Party Tools: Purchase costs of third-party components (SSL, Payment gateways, Plugins, Google AdWords) are not included in our quotes. Unforeseen limitations of these components are beyond our control.
- Open Source: Seecode takes no responsibility for open-source products like WordPress or Joomla. It is the client's responsibility to update third-party software and take regular backups.
- Hosting & Domains: Domain registration and hosting charges are not included unless mentioned otherwise. If the website is not hosted on Seecode servers, additional man-hours required due to server/network issues will be charged separately.
Seecode builds and tests applications on our own servers. The application will be transferred to a nominated 3rd party server only upon full payment of all dues.
06. Resolution of Dispute
All communications and correspondences are generally done via emails. It is the client’s responsibility to keep us updated with their relevant email addresses.
In the event of any dispute or difference of any nature arising regarding the terms and conditions and interpretations of the above clauses, the same shall be referred to the court of law within the jurisdiction of Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India.
